Help upgrade my old ahh pc xwx

Hellos!! My rig's been falling apart recently since most of it but the gpu is like 4+ years old... so I wanted to upgrade it before something catastrophic happens and its been a while since I built/upgraded my pc so I ask thee of advice n help searching...

The list is as follows:

Storage size is there but can't identify it exactly, but they're as close as I can go

Goals at the moment is upgrading anything but the storage, gpu, and psu- Budget roughly $500, but can go over if need be!

Things that definitely need to be upgraded would be the case (random brand, stock fans are dying), motherboard (1 broken ram slot), and ram (more ram! maybe 2x16?)- but yes fdgdfgfdg not looking to do the highest quality of gamin, but something serviceable that can do big video editing on with blender!
