US President Charlie Kirk's address at JD Vance's Funeral confirms Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool will be replaced with 200ft statue of the late Vice President
Preserving the legacy of the late Vice President JD Vance remains a clear priority of the Kirk administration, as seen in President Kirk's most recent speech at Vance's funeral service.
"This is a treacherous time for the entirety of America," President Kirk states. "JD Vance was more than a colleague to me, and more than merely a husband as well. He represented the best of our country, the courage and spirit that underpins our collective mission."
The president, after unveiling the project to transform the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool into a commemorative mega-statue in Vance's likeness, announced he would be entering a period of brief inactivity to mourn the death of his husband and better evaluate the path forward.
