What the fuck is it with these tech moguls? Is it like a revenge of the nerds type thing where they want to get back at their school bullies or the girls who rejected them? I know that's the case with musk and the telegram weirdo and I'm starting to assume it's a common theme.
It is a thing. Working in tech, I've noticed that this type of resentful ex-incel isn't uncommon.
Even though a lot of my colleagues are open-minded and cosmopolitan. I think, there's more of that angry nerd type of person in previous generations (Millennials and older), before the mass outsourcing, and they steer towards fascism because of their social status being threatened. They're not as used to foreigners and women getting more rights and entering the field to the point of being visible to them, and it threatens their dominant social status over them. So, they're willing to make things worse for all of us, just so the people they seem inferior are still socially beneath them.
By that logic, most politicians are liberal arts major graduates and lawyers. Does that mean these people are insecure about their own career choices and subject of study, and want to ruin other people's lives? Stop shaming other people for their careers and fields. Being bullied is not fault of victim, and no need to shame for being rejected by girls either. You are connecting these negative stereotypes with morality here.
