Where does your excess money go?

I’m grateful to be having a breakout year, like 2x+ my total compensation from last year.

With this being the case, I’m not interested in buying random crap to fill our home. I’d much rather invest in assets that will continue to bear fruit.

That being said, I’m also not an expert in things like real estate or buying cash flow businesses.

Where do you all park the extra money? Once the emergency fund is there and your debts (except our mortgage) are paid off, what have you poured the money into? This year I expect we will have ~300 - 400k we don’t need and want to be smart about.
