opinions on Stick? (skyclans destiny)

In my opinion, I heavily dislike him. He is just a very annoying, overprotective dad. A big part of his character and arc was Red, his daughter. Red was a fully grown cat capable of defending herself, but Stick kept smothering her. shown when they heard a strange sound in the alley, and Red said shed go check it out, but Stick immedietly jumped in saying hell go with her. It seems like hes just trying to come with her to idk, be there in case of a threat, but still it shows he doesnt see Red as a cat capable of protecting herself and needing an escort just to check out a noise at night. Then he got all hurt and shocked when she snapped at him.

Even in her final moments at the Dodge battle, his immediate response was shock, but when Harley cried over her body and talked about the kits they were planning, Stick responded with a snarl, saying "that was never going to happen." As if he had any say in it! It shows he would rather fight over her body even while she was dying. He didn't even cry, apologize, or stop fighting.

He was fully about to attack a grieving Harley again, and when Leafstar stopped him and told him the fighting was over, he literally called her weak. He says this even though he was using SkyClan's numbers to fight his own battle against Dodge. I know he hated Dodges group, but at his literal daughters death which he directly caused, he was just very.... eugh
He just feels very icky to me. I don't want to step on anyone's toes, but I'm just curious to hear your opinions!
