Best 4k Reader/player for pc

I have been priced out of all of my hobbies this year. Omnibus, games, manga, but as a collector of physical media for most of my life I'm satisfied with what I have. Movies and TV are different though.

Consoles aren't hard to come by, all I need is light to read but I want to be able to preserve my media library and redundancy never hurts. Ive been looking into a good external reader and im not sure where to start.
