What do y'all advise?

I got the email that I was on the reservation queue for the 512GB model without the controller.

I'm currently playing on a laptop with gtx1650 connected to a monitor, and I would use this only to play games with (m&k, i don't like playing with controller) and keep my laptop for everyday stuff.

Could some of you tell me whether this is good decision or just leave the queue and go with some other option?
