Is there a way to bind the sword and shield to left and right click?

I am an hour in to the games and I am LOVING both Ship of Harkinian and 2Ship2Harkinian but I am playing on keyboard and mouse and the control remap menu wont let me use my mouse clicks as inputs for the N64 R and B buttons. Is there a way to get around that or no?
