Outlet Help - Wanna buy

Hi everyone,
I was planning to buy the new Canyon Aeroad CF SLX 7 AXS, but I just came across an Aeroad CF SLX 8 AXS in the Canyon Outlet.

What confuses me is why it’s in the Outlet in the first place. It doesn’t seem to be used or damaged, and it looks like the current generation of the Aeroad.
Does anyone know why Canyon puts bikes like this in the Outlet? Is it simply old stock or excess inventory, or is there something I’m missing?
