It isn’t that bad

Sure not a doom post I won’t be getting the same clicks, but objectively V5 Gilgamesh has a lot of great tools.

First off; the new Intrigue can importantly stack infinitely which coming from old 10 stack reset I feel like a lot of people can miss. Each action the teammates do is 1 stack as a microscopic 4-p Eagle effect, and more important an User Agnostic mini 4-p Eagle on any teammate’s ult giving him 30% Speed, after his E2 you get 5 stacks plus the 2 from ulting his own Ultimate is 70% Speed which is probably almost always as good as a 4-p Eagle or better idk quite how the math works out but I doubt 70 speed is that much worse than 25% AA.

Onto his Eidolons give him some great buffs, E1 makes each of those skills +70 Energy which is pretty damn good even ignoring the ally Energy Siphon he can get there, then of course it also shares the Def Ignore which is the main thing people know it for. E2 helps you skip the first turn basic attack with the 5 starting Intrigue, then it also gives you another 5 on ult so 7 total as mentioned earlier, and it doubles skill damage to 560% main target which I believe is one of the best non-gimmick skill multipliers in the game though I might be wrong maybe powercreep has past me by. E4 is shit. E6 is pretty damn good though, as it should be, his ultimate’s total multiplier with the bounce it gives and the level 12 from E5 gives his ult a total single target multiplier of 2,420% ATK each time and with the Golden Rule stacks it gets a free 300% Crit Damage along with a few billion other buffs in his kit and the team it will probably one shot a fair bit of End Game.

And Saber right now they feed each other’s actions pretty well, energy battery helps Saber’s AA and her 2x damage ult helps give him his ult and his Intrigue which I believe is 4 from the Joint, then 1 from AA, 3 from Ult.

Altogether I think E1 Gilgamesh + E0 Saber + E0 Ashveil + E2 M. Blade is pretty easily Tier-0 and it just gets better with further investment.
