Is EHL good for Culinary?

I know EHL is a frequently asked question but I wanted to know whether studying in EHL would be good for a career in Culinary? Theyve got an associates degree from what I've researched and it seems a bit expensive but less expensive as compared to other Culinary schools Ice found so far.

  1. Im planning on staying in the campus facilties, are there any EHL students who live on campus / doing the Culinary course? If so how is it?

  2. Im an international student and ive read that its hard to get a job for non EU students but EHL helps students find jobs?

  3. Is the 5 month internship a paid one?

  4. The website states that Associate Culinary degree students get to take 4 field trips(3 in EU and 1 after graduation to japan) And the 3 EU trips dont have extra costs as stated on the website fees brochure.

However if you wanna go to Japan you have to pay around 8k CHF or so? Are there any students here who've been on those field trips? If so how did they go?

  1. My goal is to work in a really good restaurant with a good pay for 2 or 3 years and then come back to my home country to start my own place with the experience Ive gained. Would this course be worth it?
