Hope and Despair
Hope is a riveting term that many misinterpret,
For to have hope is to also have darkness.
Hope is the wings of the phoenix,
And darkness is the eternal rebirth
The phoenix must dwell for the Garden of Eden.
Hope is what our minds are;
It’s the outcome we so very desire.
Alas!, how shall he strike that fateful hour?
We human species are the hope for a much better world.
We are the embodiment of a warden,
To supervise the vibrant green Earth,
The baby blue water, and the ambiguous animals.
Here at heart we shall keep this world safe,
But to have creation follows the suit of destruction.
We are the angels of the heavens,
We stay vigilant, we thrive for freedom.
But what is a world without oppression?
That is the darkness.
The darkness is the inhuman,
The ones who commit such heinous endeavors.
And how shall we stop the accursed?
How shall we stop the decay,
The misery, the darkness that engulfs us?
The answer is simple: to transcend the despair,
And realize your own human psyche
Is the luxury to a much more divine world.
Darkness is what hermetically seals us
In some circumstances, no matter how hard we endeavor.
But, the darkness shall be gone never.
How shall hope soon become clever?
To conclude this is painful forever?
How shall we please the cognitive bias of our mind?
To grimace being kind?
Our mind is a whirlwind of emotions,
Constantly seeking further commotions.
Consciousness is either the woe of knowledge,
Or the benevolence of non-knowledge.
