THE SNORKULUS Hookah Diving System - MK1

I put together a project page for the SNORKULUS MK1, a home-built battery-powered hookah diving / surface-supplied air system we’ve been experimenting with for very shallow underwater metal detecting and recovery work.

The page documents what we built, why we built it, how the different versions came together, and the safety concerns we are thinking about. It includes photos, diagrams, build notes, a bill of materials, and a lot of warnings about what this is and is not.

Important: this is not a certified system, not commercial diving equipment, not scuba gear, and not a recommendation that anyone copy it. It is documentation of an experiment so it can be studied, questioned, criticized, improved, and discussed.

This subreddit is the right place to ask questions about the project, talk about hookah diving, discuss surface-supplied air setups, point out problems, suggest improvements, or share related experience.

Please keep the discussion useful and respectful. Safety criticism is welcome. Personal attacks, reckless advice, pressure-testing bravado, and low-effort panic posting are not.
