arm n hammer double duty litter change?

ive just recently bought a new 40lb box and it is WAY more dusty and powdery than the last 6 years ive been using it, to the point of my cats urine not clumping well anymore, weve always used it bc it keeps smell away for a good while and clumps very solidly. just doing my daily scoop made a giant cloud around me i cant imagine my cats breathing in all this dust :( anyone else notice this change? any litter recommendations for a 3 cat household?
