40 [F4R] Looking for some friends with similar interests

Hi all! I'm currently living in Southwest Virginia, which isn't the best place to meet childfree people, so I thought I'd look for some friends here. Open to either local or long distance online friendships.

Some of my interests are:

• Animals, especially cats and reptiles. I have a cat right now but no reptiles... yet. (Hoping for my first reptile to be a snake from the Pituophis genus, if you're interested in that.)

• Video games, especially ones with interesting characters and good worldbuilding. (Can't currently game with folks due to terrible internet though.) A lot of my favorites are older, but Ark has its hooks in me something terrible.

• Horror. I just finished reading The Cipher by Kathe Koja and it was... certainly something. There are some good ideas in there, but I left feeling unsatisfied by this one.

• Vpets. Remember Tamagotchis? They're still a thing. I recently got into the Paradise model, and I'm loving it! Also got a couple Digimon and am looking into some other devices in the future.

I can sometimes be a bit slow to reply due to depression and anxiety, but if you think we'd get along then I'd love to hear from you. If we mesh well I usually prefer to move over to Discord so I get alerts from messages, but that's not required. Thanks for reading. :)
