Can the paleman actually kill wraith?

So I ended up watching the paleman attack the wraith for like a min straight. Wraith was kinda just aurafarming and not trying to move away, which made me feel like I was witnessing an enemies to lover arc. Ultimately I still had to kill them both myself and that was really annoying (also I felt slightly homophobic afterward.) Has anyone seen alice’s father actually kill the wraith or does he just like cornering wraith against the wall like a little freak?
