Hi ladies, long time lurker first time poster here :')

Saturday was one of if not THE best day of my life as I married my best friend in the whole wide world (so cheers to that!!!🥳)

However ever since then we've had so many hiccups and I'm honestly just exhausted and ready to go home and settle in to wifey life :(

Saturday night we went to a hotel and after 3 hours there my husband found ACTUAL doodoo on the pillowcase. Girls, I saw red. I was so tired and just wanted to sleep. The front desk person was no help and only offered up a new pillowcase. I said no, we would like a refund bc we are checking out and leaving. He said I would have to go through booking.com for the refund. I called them and the guy on the other side was so nice and professional and felt awful for us about that and also disgusted bc it was so gross and a bio hazard. He told me he'd do everything he could to get me that full refund. Got an email this morning... the hotel was awful and fought back and wouldn't give a refund. So booking.com gave me $12 in credits. I know it was the best they could do and I appreciate them but I am still so upset about being out all that money.

Saturday night my grandma, bless her heart, paid for us to go to a new hotel that was actually very nice. We had a couple hiccups trying to get in and she had to come up to the hotel to check us in. But it was all good and by 2am we finally went to bed. But I had been sleeping terribly the past couple nights prior and slept terribly that night (not even 3 hours) and by morning I was so tired. But we were on our way to a cute cabin treehouse in the woods for a couple days as a small honeymoon we have been calling our "minimoon"

So we get there and almost get in an accident bc the roads are so narrow and terrible. We then have a suspicious van following us the whole time 😐 we get to the check in place and I am exhausted and the guy at the office LOCKS US IN THE BUILDING for some reason and just keeps talking and talking and talking as we're just trying to get to the cabin.

So FINALLY we get to the cabin. And it's cute but idk it's just off and something abt it is unnerving. It's honestly kinda creepy. And the only way to the bed is up a steep ladder which is a nightmare to go down if you have to go potty in the middle of the night. I almost had to take my husband to the ER last night bc he got bug spray in his lungs and was coughing and got super weak and his throat tightened up. He's okay now thank God.

We went to bed and this morning went to the beach. However the beach is super small and absolutely dirty. The water and the beach had trash all over it. We didn't even go in... just tanned a little on the dock. But idk.

I promise I'm not trying to sound ungrateful or like a snob. I'm very tired and this place kinda creeps me out. I was really looking forward to seeing the beach too...

In all honesty I am just glad to be here with my husband. He is my best friend and I couldn't do this without him. I love him and he makes me feel so safe and protected.

Oh and the icing on the cake was yesterday his dumb ass ex who we forgot abt bc she hasn't been in his life since they broke up, liked his instagram reel he made of our wedding (we recorded the ceremony only, for our kids someday, for us, and for our family and friends that couldn't make it). He had posted it and for the first time in almost 3 years made her presence known. He immediately blocked her after I got kinda super upset abt her doing that (I'm not upset with him... she had blocked him and at some point unblocked him idk)

Anyways!!! Dinner tonight is mac n cheese with left over peppers, chicken and beans from Qdoba catered for our rehearsal dinner.

Thank you for reading. We go home tomorrow ❤️
