Damage control in secondaries?

I'm not sure what was going through my head, but for my TMDSAS OIE essay I wrote about how a patient's situation (no identifying patient details obviously) reminded me of someone close to me. I wrote about how I didn't let it affect my work experience, but that I was emotionally effected afterwards and had to process. How bad is this, and should I attempt to do damage control in my secondaries? Will they think I'm emotionally unstable?
