Confused & lost
I've been working for amazon for a year about now, it's ghetto, drama all in the air, people sitting in the bathroom for 20 mins, favoritism, normal to weird ass managers, co-workers and it's a bottom of the barrel job but pays well, have good benefits and a unique pro "flexibility". I've gotten various awards "employee of the month" "most improved blah" so to my defense I'm not a slacker nor go to the bathroom to be on my phone / sleep and I've never appreciated those rewards bc I know I was being overworked but it did come with some benefits. I've been getting burned out bc I just don't seem to enjoy the warehouse life bc they all care about metrics, about themselves, and we aching our body truthfully with no promotion nor recognition. I feel like a stormtrooper from star wars when I clock in and respectfully I rather work a blue collar job with promised promotions paywise but I'm a junior at college with a background in accounting/finance. I'm lost on what to do next, but I'm currently looking for another job atm but I just don't work to work a dead end job not related to my major nor waste my time but it does pay the bills i guess. I was looking into IT certifications like Comptia +, Google etc. as it can break the ice into IT and yeah I'm still going to finish college, so any suggestion or advice will help me so much, appreciate it.
