Oregoians are a bunch of entitled, helpless wimps about their gas being pumped
This is coming from an Oregonian who's grown up having my gas pumped my entire 30 years here. I do it myself now.
I went to Fred Meyer the other day, What I witnessed was pathetic.
The full service line was at least 10+ cars deep on each side. With one attendant running the place. One young girl. Who looked absolutely terrified.
Self service side, an absolute desert, maybe 2 people. Pumps completely open
I had to pay inside. While I was waiting, I saw a bunch of helpless people, standing outside of their car, with their card in their hands, mean mugging the young girl
I saw one guy, pump was done, The girl was busy helping other customers,
He was yelling "help!!! Help!! It's done!!"
Oh my god. Some of you are absolute entitled drama queens about your gas.
YOU'RE ALLOWED TO DO IT YOURSELF. You're already halfway there. Out of your car with your card and your hand .
Isn't the whole purpose of full service is so you can stay in your car?
Once the gas attendant thing is eventually gone, I expect people to be calling 911 at the pump asking "how many fred Meyer points do I have?"
Some of you are absolutely helpless. I feel so bad for that girl.
In this type of situation, just do it yourself. My god.
