why do dump accounts are kinda becoming the main account now?

i noticed a lot of people seem way more active on their dump or alt account than the one everyone knows about kinda makes me wonder if those accounts end up feeling more real since theres no pressure to look a certain way or keep up with people from school or work. for anyone who has one what did it end up becoming for you just a place to post random thoughts or did it slowly turn into the account you actually enjoy using more? im curious how different everyones experience is
