Need real advice

Hey! ive always lived on a old acer laptop, play my games there and have a somewhat decent easy time other then the frequent blue screens and the occasional factory resets, i want to get an upgrade but i dont even know where to start ass i dont know about specs and all that, any somewhat cheap pcs + monitor can i get that can run games pretty well such as like phasmophobia, roblox curseforge and sims and all the good stuff
