Advice on New vs Used car

Hi all. I need some advice on buying a car this summer. Currently I'm in between a 2023 Lexus es 250 (22k miles for about $35k) or a new 2026 Toyota camry (price point around ~$40k).

I was planning to go through the Chase auto financing option and putting around 7k down upfront. The interest rates through chase are about 5.7% apr with $480 monthly payments.

Not sure which car is the best option for me as I work from home, so im not worried about putting too many miles on the car. What matters most is how reliable it is, maintenance cost, how long the car will last, etc. Also a good sound system is a big plus.

This is my first time buying a car (I've only leased in the past) so any advice would be helpful!
