Is this subdrop?
This is probably going to be part rant, part rambling, and part seeking advice from a very very insecure sub, I’m really sorry.
Context/tl;dr: I have a long term partner who is a very light Dom, we met up with another couple and had a very light scene. The other sub ended up hating my partner, I was left out of that conversation and the other dom hasn’t spoken to me since.
I am genuinely fine with that part, sometimes shit doesn’t work out. People aren’t compatible, all of that is okay.
I went down hard during the scene, just kind of crash landed into a headspace I hadn’t been in for a long time. Nothing particularly intense happened, some kneeling, some cuddling, primarily it was no sexual service to the other couple (made them dinner, got anything they needed, just little stuff). I can’t articulate why I went there but I did. And during it, it was great. I felt safe and small.
But in the aftermath of now, I feel discarded and used. No aftercare was provided, I’m not sure anyone realized I hit subspace. Maybe that’s on me for not saying anything.
But I’m sad and I’m clingy to my partner and I took off my collar because I can’t imagine opening up such a vulnerable part of myself again.
Is this a sub drop? I feel like I’m overreacting but I also feel so raw and exposed and just generally uncomfortable.
For the record, my dom has been kind, patient and understanding. I could ask him for anything right now and he would give it to me, and I love him for that. But I don’t know what I need except to crawl into a pit and not come out.
