Is being creative/talented a thing you are born with or is acquired ?

I’ve been talking to a friend about how I lack creativity and talent and how that never in my life I had actual hobbies
He argued that me watching movies and reading books (although I spend more time on YouTube, not brain rot no I watch videos that are between 20min-1 hour long about random subjects and general knowledge) are actual hobbies
I argued maybe watching movies critically might be a hobby but not books as it’s either a form of entertainment or a form of learning
But then I thought of it, yeah reading books could be considered a hobby I guess
Anyways, I told him other than these three things I do nothing else with my day, I’m a college student and I don’t work so I literally have an entire day for myself
And I want to be creative, I want to be talented, I want to learn how to draw how to be crafty with items, I want to acquire critical thinking skills, I want to be creative in ways where I come up with ideas where I see things others don’t, I want to be the reason I make a revolutionary thing but it seems he’s right, when I learned how to draw I didnt get past the shading part which is the first thing I learned, as for craftsman ship, everything I touch I fuck up or break which is weird and alarming, and I’ve never thought of any good thought in my entire 20 years on this earth
So is creativity acquired or are you born with it ?
