Looking for an alternative to Philips SHP9500 that's as noise cancelling as possible (3.5mm compatible if possible for Vmoda Boompro

Hi! I got the Philips SHP9500 and Vmoda Boompros a few years ago for myself and my partner, before I knew the difference between open and closed back headphones lol. He really doesn't like the open back so I'm looking for an alternative for him that's more noise-cancelling.

Budget around $100-$150, he doesn't really mess with EQs or anything so I don't think there's anything specific he's looking for otherwise. Just want some suggestions to look at/show him to see what he thinks. Thanks!!
