GF [25F] and I [29M] barely make out anymore. How do I navigate this going forward?

We've been together for 2 years and live together. In general, the relationship is okay. We argue often but usually make up. Sex was great at the start, and now it's about once every two weeks. I've brought up that there's a slight mismatch here, as I want a lot more, and she kinda insists that this happens with all relationships. This is my first serious relationship, so I don't have much to compare.

The main question is on kissing. Is it normal for kissing to sort of stop after a while? We peck when we say bye in the morning but that's kind of it. Id love to make out and kiss her more but often when I try she shuts it down pretty quickly. I tend to feel like she doesn't really like making out, but she did when we met. The absolute worst feeling is when I go to kiss and she kind of does a joke kiss, which happens a lot. I know she's trying to be fun, but damn I would love a normal romantic kiss just once in a while.

When I bring it up, it tends to go no where.

TLDR: is making out just for the early days in a relationship? Do I only want it cuz I ain't getting it?
