How I Was Successfully Unbanned From Hinge

Basically, what happened to me is what seems to have happened to many people. Deleted and recreated my account maybe 3 times within the last year, and when I made it for the last time, I had it for about 12 hours before I was suddenly banned. Since I genuinely did nothing wrong, I immediately put in an appeal, but didn’t hear shit since then.

What you should do if you have gone through the same: Email hello@hinge.co but MAKE SURE to NOT(!!!) reference a ban or appeal in your subject line. If you do that, your email will 100% get an auto response and ignored - that’s what happened to me the last time I emailed them. My subject line this time was “Need A Human PLEASE” and in the body I respectfully explained my situation with all my account details. Somebody responded to me later the same day, had me verify my ID through some website, and within 12 hours after that, my account was reinstated.

Hopefully they fix this stupid auto-ban feature soon, but until then, maybe I can help another poor soul. Good luck
