First time working with Chainmail

currently have only taught myself a four in one European pattern I would like to learn other patterns what are other patterns that everyone thinks are good and also I only have pliers different types of pliers but pliers as a tool I don’t have the special wire cutter I have like a baby one but not like the big one and I don’t have like rods to make my own chain mail. I’ve been buying chain mail rings off of Amazon.
