Is it normal for your dad to think you are gay?

Growing up my dad always thought I was gay for some reason, he wondered why I never talked about girls that much or I never had any female celebrity or character that I really like, etc. I never expressed any interest in women in front of him.

One time I was looking at pictures of some male actor and he thought I was gay. Sometimes random things that I do come across as gay to him. In reality im straight, exclusively attracted to girls and women but my dad thinks I am homosexual, why is this?
