Does your family have a tradition that others think is strange?

My grandmother was a WWII war bride. Her mother and brothers followed soon after. The family tradition they brought with them was taking a 4 generations photo of only the eldest daughters of each generation. I never knew the history or story behind it. I’d never heard of anyone else’s family who did this until recently. I have a friend from Australia who didn’t find it strange at all b/c his family had the tradition too.
