Ex is suddenly talking to me again

Like didnt want to talk at all for a bit and even blocked me multiple times. I Drunk called him this past wendeday and sent him a message saying that I still love him. Messaged him the next day and said I was sorry and that that was cringe of me. Then he offers for us to go out and get a snack togther, i tell him im not comfortable hanging one on one since it was hard to heal but that he could come eat at my work. Then we actually had a phone call last night, and just talked about our lives for about half an hour. He told me during the phone call that he doesnt want to talk to me if im talking to other men or if I've slept with someone else since the breakup, we have no intention on getting back together or even hanging out really so its all just kind of confusing. Im 26 and hes 29 i feel like we should be past mental gymnastics.
