Apartment search

I know there’s a bunch of these on here so bear with me, my situation might be a touch unique. Planning on moving to sac sept 1-ish. 38 M and always lived in northern ca (Redding) but saying screw it and making the jump. What’s important to me, a nice spot preferably with a gym and pool and some social stuff. Budget 2,000-3,000 max but the place would have to be perfect for that I’d love to keep it under 2500 ideally. Never lived in a city, so a location that I can walk to food and events Is prob my biggest want. Just wanna experience city life for a bit and see if it’s for me. Thanks in advance for any input!
