Spotify playlist pitching campaigns

We got a message from someone on the BandsinTown website, asking if we would be interested in “Spotify Playlist pitching Campaigns”. Has anyone done this? Has anyone paid for this service? Here’s the basic run of the pitch,

“the track gets pitched to independent playlist curators in the right genre lane, the kind of placements that build monthly listener count and give the song an actual streaming footprint instead of just sitting there. For a DIY band with a solid live following, that's usually the fastest way to close the gap between who shows up to your gigs and who's finding you online.”

Any experience in this subject would be great, we’re an older band (most of us over 40) so this stuff kinda flys over my head. Kinda gives me Uber Eats vibes where I would end up paying much more for the convenience vs say doing it ourselves. Have YOU pitched any tracks to an online curated playlist?
