ventriculomegaly found at 32 weeks

At our 32 week growth scan we found ventriculomegaly. It was a horrifying day that I still can’t shake. 10.1mm on the left and 9.8mm on the right.

We then had an MRI show no further brain issues and confirmed measurements of 11mm on the left and 8.8 on the right.

MFM also showed 10.3mm on the left and 8.5mm on the right in the day of my amnio a few days after the MRI.

FISH test from the amnio have come back clear.

We ordered a whole genom sequence (wsg) trio which looks and mine and my husbands DNA In conjunction with the baby.

I should mention I’m having a baby girl and her head size in perfectly standard for her gestational age.

Here is the fucked up part. We have about a 5% risk of the genetic testing coming back positive for serious conditions. My husband and I are in agreement on what we would do in that situation but omg this is horrible. It’s so far along…

My doctor put me on Zoloft after the amnio appointment because I’ve completely disconnected with the fetus at this point. I feel like a zombie just waiting to find out my fate.

…this was a very easy and normal pregnancy and the whiplash is insane.

Just need some words of wisdom.
