Sister Friede is ruining my life

Bit dramatic but seriously, I’m easily on 80+ attempts and she’s wiping the floor with me.

I’m SL 90, dex build using the sellsword twin blades (sharp, +10) and I’m getting no where.

The last 30 or so attempts I’ve ended up summoning Gael and still, she’s getting me (also, the fact you can summon Gael without being embered tells me even the devs knew how bullshit this fight could be)

I’ve read possibly every bit of advice available on the internet for this fight and nothing helps, she dodges backstabs and parrying most of the time and to be honest Gael is dying before phase three as often as he’s surviving into it

I’m at my limit with this fight, I work full time and have maybe 3 hours max a week that I can spend playing video games and I’ve been stuck on this fight for six weeks at least. It’s at the point where I don’t even feel like playing the game anymore, it’s becoming a chore. I’ve never felt anger towards a fight in a video game like I have with this one, I’m aware it’s a well designed fight but it’s possibly the worst time I’ve had playing a game. Ever.

Does anyone have any advice that could possibly help? Is my build the problem?
