Thinking about becoming a pilot

Hey guys, I’m new here and I’m not 100% sure what I want to do in life. I’m 19 and in May I finished my freshman year at college with no major. I’ve always been fascinated by aviation and flying planes, however I don’t know much about it. I think flying would be an absolutely amazing thing to do as a career, but I’m not sure where to start. I’d like to know the positives, the negatives, the in between. If you could tell me what led you to doing what you do, or something you would have done different. I’m hoping some of you pilots or people in the field, both former and current, could give me any and all advice, tips, suggestions, literally anything. Thank you so much
