If you remember my old post it reeked of depression.

I'm happy to report this one does not!

Now I've got one that is cloying, but I like this version more.

After telling her the truth the conversation that followed was terrifying. The silence was uncomfortable I admit.

Instead of giving her time to process everything, I filled in the blanks myself. I assumed what she was thinking. I panicked and even blocked her because not knowing felt worse than any answer I could imagine.

I swallowed my pride because her notifications and the connection was everything to me. Since then I've been consciously making an effort to be transparent and just be there for her. The banter and everything else didn't need a so called layer of privacy, yeah privacy is important but you have to make the distinction when it is needed.

We both don't know where this will go, well, only my notes App. I guess I'll visit the EU sometime if it plays out as I'm hoping. That's all I can say.

What started as a random online chat turned into something I actually care about more than I expected. The biggest thing I learned is that intimacy isn't built through confession. It's built one tiny piece at a time.

I’m glad she’s still talking to me.

I'm incredibly grateful I swallowed my pride. Came clean.

And I'm even more grateful I got the chance to start fresh.

Dinner is homemade plant based hot dog (no other brand lol)

I'm thankful I swallowed my pride and for the opportunity.

I'm out.
