Any app(s) that show a game’s controls on the bottom screen?

Discussion

I switch between quite a few games in GameNative (and other emulators) and sometimes I forget the controls when I come back to a game after a while.

Since the Thor has a second screen, I thought it would be useful to have an app that stays open on the bottom screen and shows a simple control guide for whatever game you are playing on the top screen.

It could start with something basic, like letting you choose a game, upload a screenshot of the controls menu which a lot of games already offer, or manually create a cleaner button layout. It could also possibly use OCR to read controls from screenshots, support different control sets, or let users share layouts.

Has anyone seen an app / GitHub project / or concept that already does this? Does GameNative or GameHub expose control mappings in any usable way? And finally would other people actually find something like this useful or should I give up on the idea completely? 😅

I’m no developer and also exclusively a Mac user, but I would take a stab at it if there was any demand for something like this. Thanks y’all!
