Age preferences are weird...

In recent months I've become very... confused, I'll say, about my dating preferences when it comes to age. I've never considered myself to have a preference for older people, more-so I've always thought that age doesn't actually affect my judgement all that much. However recently I've become really quite confused with my judgement.

Not too long ago I broke up with a boyfriend of mine, he was M45 whilst I am F19. That's the only age-gap relationship I've been in, the other two relationships I've had were with people who at the time were my age. But 19 and 45 is a REALLY significant age gap. And recently I've gotten the number and have started talking to a guy who is 36, not as big of a gap but still very significant. Both of these encounters have just made me very confused as to what my preferences are, and if it's even a good idea to be dating people so incredibly far out of the general age-range for people my age. I think I just need some other opinions on the matter.
