AITAH for expecting my best friend to be more tolerant of me?
Okay so a few days ago I (ftm 17) was messing around with my best friend (f 18) by calling her old jokes and she got uncomfortable and told me to stop. I have very bad internet reception at the time so my jokes sent in late and her responses also came in very late for me and by the time i knew it, she had already blocked me. (blocking is not taken very lightheartedly in my circle of friends, it means you did a major fuck up.) i assumed she blocked me because of my jokes so i went and apologised to her using multiple channels because like i genuinely did not intend to make her feel uncomfortable let alone harm her in any way as i really value her as a friend
A few days later, she unblocked me and cleared things up, telling me why she blocked me and why she felt extremely uncomfortable with me. I acknowledged it, apologised and explained the technical error on my side that caused it to happen because like i said, i really value her as a friend and i would purposely never do anything to harm her.
It has been over a week and she has completely ignored me and even went on a few ramapages on her social media talking shit about men (specifically what i did) and i feel slightly hurt because i 100% did not intend to do such a thing to her and she is still visibly mad at me. We have spent 5+ years being friends and i have tolerated her after she hurt me multiple times. I wished for at least forgiveness because, i agree i fucked up but it was not intentional.
so, aitah for expecting she tolarated me a little bit more?
