Game recommendations similar to Resident Evil and Alan Wake?

Hey all,

So I’ve played almost all of the resident evil games (just waiting for 9 to be a little cheaper) and I’m currently half way through Alan Wake 2 after finishing the first one.

I absolutely love the 3rd person inventory management/puzzle solving/shooting style of both. The horror part of both games is fine too but it’s not required.

Are there other series/games out there that are kind of similar? I saw a video of Silent Hill 2 and that looked like it might be a good series to visit next.
