Should I request forbearance with PSLF app still pending?

120th payment due 6/22, made on 6/19. Submitted manual PSLF application today with employer signature due to issues with HR rep not receiving DocuSign link over multiple attempts with electronic ECF (strangely, these issues only arose with my 120th payment and not any of my several previous ECFs—all same employer). Per the advice of this sub and FSA, I did not check the box requesting forbearanc.

I understand it will take 3-5 weeks for FSA to process my manual app. My next payment is due 7/22. Is it safe to call Mohela and request forbearance on July 1, with my PSLF app still pending, or is there still a chance it will disqualify my June payment?
