Asuna: Talk to me.

Kirito: Asuna, I think... I'm gonna go.

Asuna: To America?

Kirito: Yeah. The research is way more advanced there. It's all next gen stuff. There creating a new world. And I want to be there when it's born.

Asuna: \*Smiles\* We were happy in Aincrad. But there was so much pain, and sadness too. You wanna find out why that castle still haunts your thoughts. And where that experience is taking you.

Kirito: Even if I live a couple hundred years, I doubt I'll doubt I'll find that out.

....

Anyway, I want... I want \*\*you\*\* with me, Asuna. \*\*Always\*\*. I want you to come with me. And I... I \*know\* that's asking a lot. But the truth is... \*\*I can't do this without you!\*\*

Asuna: \*Gasps in surprise, then holding his hand\* Of Course, I'll go anywhere with you. It doesn't matter where, I'll go.

Kirito: Asuna...

\*As they pull one another closer, their lips touch, like exchanging informations by the infinite amount of light compassing their souls\*

And \*\*That\*\*... Is actually the last time we see our beloved couple Kiss \*\*On Screen\*\*, which is among the best four kisses in the entire series I believe.

There has been more close interactions afterwards till the end, but none had close up shots of their lips actually touching. For example, in the flashback scene of Kirito as Start King and Asuna as the Queen lying on the bed side by side and holding hands. But their faces were not shown in those scenes.

Also, I've heard/read somewhere about a moment after Kirito's Awakening, in which they share another beautiful Kiss while Kirito flying and carrying Asuna in the novels that the Anime didn't adapt.

Either way, \*\*this\*\* moment right here was already special. With the entire context of STL now introduced and Asuna having a deep recollection about Aincrad, we now got what's possibly \*\*One of the most beautiful Monologues Ever\*\* through Asuna.

I sometimes wonder, \*How deep Love Can Actually go?\* Believe me when I say, \*\*Kirito and Asuna Answers It Again and Again... And Again...\*\*
