I'm going to get star citizen and already decided I want to be a bounty hunter. Any recommendations for new players like me?

I already went through the hassle of looking thru tutorials so I won't be completely lost when I first play so just wondering what is a good ship I should set my eyes on. Also is there any friendly groups I could join?
