Paint for imperial fists

I watched a video on Warhammer painting tutorial on how to paint Darnath. The painter used imperial fists contrast follow by 1:1 casandora yellow and lahmian medium. Then he used flash gitz yellow on the armor to bring back the yellow. My question is flash gitz yellow a good paint to dry brush the armor because I read that yriel yellow is the best option.
