Do you use Frame generation?
Back when Nvidia announced DLSS, a lot of people called it useless tech and said raw performance was all that mattered. Now in 2026, we all know how that turned out.
Here's my question: DLSS Frame Generation got pretty much the same negative reputation when it first launched. But now that AMD has also introduced ML-based frame generation and more games are adopting the tech, do you guys use Frame Generation more often than when it first came out?
For me, I use a QHD 360Hz monitor, so I enable frame generation whenever possible. If a game doesn’t have native FG (I’m looking at you, Forza 6), I just use AFMF 2.1 instead. I’ve personally never had any noticeable frame pacing issues, but your mileage may vary.
