Just had a pretty good set of results back, felt like sharing somewhere :)
Feel free to ignore, just wanted to share somewhere and express how I am feeling.
I got three grades back for essays submitted in three modules. I achieved: 85, 85, and 75.
Of course, these are pretty good all things considered. I am chuffed to be honest. Put a good amount of work into these, and was happy with the quality of each when I submitted (which is rare, I normally always submit and think about how much more I could’ve done). I do think there are some obvious places for improvement, and the feedback also points it out, but overall, I can’t really complain. This is the best set of result I have obtained thus far. I am curious into the meanings of certain grades. For example, is the jump from 75 to 85 quite substantial?
It might also be worth mentioning that I am a postgraduate humanities student, and I go to a pretty good uni (Russell group, won’t say where). I have seen mixed opinions of what certain grades “mean” for humanities subjects, but just thought I’d get some more opinions. Special points if anyone can guess the subject. Anyway, just wanted to share it somewhere as I don’t have many to share with, sorry for rambling.
