Anyone successfully negotiated their lawyers fees?

So I decided to join in on that Depo Shot lawsuit for people with Meningiomas. I have one. I took the depo 24 years ago. So I qualify.

I called several of the firms advertising to take on cases, all wanted 40%. Except for one, they considered lowering their fee. I got them to 33% 🤭

I'm so proud! So we will see what happens. I'm in debt due to the darn MRIs I had to have every 6 months and now annually. I need all the pennies I can get. Just saying that, explore the option of negotiating the fee. Might get lucky and save some coins.
