Why is Fortnite so easy now

I’ve been playing Fortnite since season around November 2017 and stopped playing around chapter 2 and now I just play Fortnite once every a while sometimes I end up winning with 12 kills by killing players with terrible aim it’s odd for me because it was hard to get 7 kills in a game of Fortnite back in chapter 1 and the players were good back then now it going in to a game of solos I feel like the players are lot worse then they used to be
